Addis Standard reported the SAF's 13th Infantry Brigade (4th Infantry Division) seized the Al-Bar area in Geissan district on June 24, near the Ethiopia-Sudan border, capturing fighters, weapons, and equipment from an SPLM-N (Joseph Touka faction) stronghold.
