Reports Indonesian Defence Ministry spokesperson Rico Ricardo Sirait confirming on 9 March 2026 that Jakarta had entered an agreement with India to procure BrahMos coastal batteries, making Indonesia the second confirmed Southeast Asian buyer.
“Jakarta has entered into an agreement with India to procure the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile system.”
