Reports that 17 people were killed and nine injured when armed attackers stopped two vehicles on the road between Payuel and Pajut in Panyang Payam, Duk County. The John Dau Foundation said the convoy was returning from a joint WFP and Action Against Hunger training session. The Duk County Commissioner attributed the attack to armed men from the Greater Pibor Administrative Area, though Radio Tamazuj could not independently verify the identity of the perpetrators.
